Dr. Ron Marquardt

Co-Founder

MVP Seminars was created in 1978 by Dr. Ron Marquardt in response to the growing need for quality business trainers, keynote speakers, and small business consultants. After arming himself with a Doctorate from UC Berkeley in Ed. Psych., he sat down with a cold beer, pencil & piece of paper, & proceeded to sketch out his dream of building a first class training company, catering to corporate USA. This was not an easy task, especially going head to head with, Speakers Bureaus. & meeting planners. Fortunately, the Internet leveled the playing field, & the business really thrived.

As Ron likes to say, “Only in America”, can your dreams become reality!

The Marquardt family has eased into semi-retirement, knowing that Jill Scala their hand picked president & partner, will lead Workplace Disciplinary Training into several more decades of success & prosperity. Ron & Barbara, now spend, their time, helping new WDT clients navigate their personal training & careers, formulated around their proven recipe of success & MVP & EHT Training.

Dena Kelber

CEO

Dena M. Kelber is a seasoned executive, educator, and business transformation leader with a Master’s degree in e-Commerce and deep expertise in project management, business systems analysis, and organizational effectiveness. She has partnered with Fortune 500 organizations—including Disney Interactive, Southern California Edison, and Abbott Laboratories—to design and deliver high-impact training and enterprise initiatives.

With more than 25 years as an instructor at the University of California, Irvine, Dena has developed and led advanced programs in Project Management, high-impact project execution, Team Building, and Business Systems Analysis. She has also served as a Senior Business Analyst at Southern California Edison, contributing to complex, large-scale business and technology transformations that drive measurable results.
