Disciplinary Harassment Counseling Services in Alabama
For any Alabama employer concerned with confirmed cases of workplace misconduct but choosing not to pursue immediate termination, generic training just doesn’t cut it. We tailor the direct counseling, complete with consequences, toward those employees found in violation of the sexual harassment policy.
From Birmingham to Huntsville to Mobile, the disciplinary services are even structured around legal compliance, plus all the needed documentation for human resources.
Core Services Provided in Alabama
Each session is set for a specific behavior. Our trainers review which policy was violated and explain how the conduct in question violates Alabama-specific laws, including the Alabama Civil Rights Act and Title VII.
Legal Accountability InstructionEmployees are walked through the consequences of their actions. We tie their behavior to legal liability under state or federal law.
Assessment for DocumentationPre- and post-training assessments ascertain understanding. These results, along with a written behavior analysis, are entered into the HR file of the employee.
Optional Monthly Follow-UpCases requiring long-term monitoring call for monthly compliance reviews. This ensures the misconduct does not recur and provides management with recent behavioral insights.
Group Reinforcement Sessions (Optional)When appropriate, we run specific groups that deal with teams impacted by the incident. These sessions focus on internal culture repair rather than general awareness training.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Settles Harassment Lawsuit
The Department of Justice sued the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office in a federal sexual harassment suit, which later settled. A female corrections officer claimed she had been subjected to repeated sexual comments and unwanted touching by a supervisor. The DOJ alleged the department failed to act despite the knowledge of the harassment. The case was resolved by means of a consent decree that required changes in the policies, updated training, and monitoring.
